Hawai'i Star Ball - update

Final arrangements for the 19th Annual Hawai‘i Star Ball are progressing nicely. I am at the moment working on the final Program, which will be going to print tomorrow (Wednesday).
Dance competition entries are still being accepted providing they do not change the pre-set timetable. Of course late entries will have to pay a “late fee” as the deadline for entries was September 11th.
This year there are couples competing from China, Hong Kong, Japan, and the Philippines, as well as couples from the Mainland and of course our local Hawai'i couples. Competitors can find their Heat Sheets, which includes the Sessions that they are dancing, the Heat Numbers and the approximate time of competing. To do this go to the website: - www.hawaiistarball.com and click on “Entry Forms”.
At the request of many local dancers I have re-arranged some of the events to allow time for more General Dancing during each of the evening sessions.
I am happy to present to the dancers of Hawai‘i the World 10-Dance Champions Gherman Mustuc and Iveta Lukosiute who will be presenting a different show each evening. The timetable and schedule of events can also be found on our website.
Tickets for all the events can be purchased at the door except Banquet reservation, which must be reserved at least the day before. Local dancers and attendees can still purchase Admission Tickets and/or Packages at the Kama’aina Rates that are good up to September 25th. You need to call me 955-3134 or 371-8042 for these details.
Also Kama’aina Room Rates are still available for the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The cost per room per night is $170 including the 13.96% taxes and can only be booked through me. The Hotel at check-in will require proof of Hawai’i residency.
So join us at the Ball and experience good dancing, good music, good food and lots of good fun.
See you at the Ball!
Geoffrey Fells
Organizer.
