Monday night at the Blackpool Festival included the British Professional Rising Star Ballroom Championships.
A couple from the United States won this event - Andrey and Yuliya
Klinchik by placing 2nd in Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango and 1st in Quickstep.
Consistency in their dancing helped to give them this win. The second place
couple from Russia – Stanislav Zelianin and Irina Cherepanova placed 4th in
Waltz, 1st in Foxtrot and Tango and 2nd in Quickstep. The 3rd place position was taken by Marcin Kalitowski and Katarzyna Florczuk from Poland placing 1st in Waltz, 4th in Foxtrot
and 3rd in Tango and Quickstep. Another couple from the United States placed 4th
(5th, 3rd, 4th, 4th) – Andrea Zaramella and Kristie Simmons.
