Al Franz Annual Showcase

The Al Franz 16th Annual Showcase was held Sunday February 17th at the Pacific Beach Hotel and featured Albert Franz and his students and two Guest Performers - Joe Shorba with Ellen Ostler and Joannie Hsieh with Tommy Nakamura. The Grand Ballroom was beautifully decorated with all the chairs covered in white and with the white tablecloths bright red table napkins that made for an elegant look. The beautiful table centerpieces were tastefully arranged and given away to one person seated at each table. The Buffet Banquet was very good with carved Roast Prime Beef, two kinds of baked fish and various vegetables and salads. Local Professionals attending were recognized and received a bottle of wine - Reginald Gasgon, Sharon Liu, Joe Shorba, Aki Sugino, Leo Tomas, and yours truly. Al's next Showcase will be January 19th 2014.
