Dream to Dance Studio information

I have received the following information regarding the Dream to Dance Studio (owned by professional Debby Borges Barboza) which is situated in the Kakaako area.

Dear Dancers and Instructors,

There has been a lot in the news about re-development of the Kakaako area including the Auahi Business Center where the dance studio in located.  In case you have been wondering the fate of Dream To Dance, I thought this might help.

Renovations have been done to accommodate Sprint's move to a nearby building since their original four-story bldg. will be renovated for apartment lofts.  This is facing Ala Moana Blvd., the other side of the block from Dream To Dance. 

Two other buildings will come down but not where I am located because it will be renovated. 

I will know more sometime in summer or fall 2012 about the renovation schedule at which time I may be temporarily relocated by Kamehameha Schools to a nearby location.

Kamehameha Schools master plan for the community has wanted to include the established businesses to serve the upcoming new apartment residential structures.  In other words, they like your dancing! and want us to remain a part of the "new Kakaako".
